Registration is open for comp starting in April. You need to be registered to be insured during training sessions.

Registration is done via Rugby Explorer App.

Cost
Mens $350
Women’s $250
Men’s and women’s 18/19 $220

If you have already registered for 7’s you still have to Register For 15’s as well. Difference being you will be credited for the $100 you have already paid.

Example: men who register for 7’s paid $100 already.. when registering for 15’s now only pay a further $250 = $350.

The rego fees are all inclusive of kit (reversible training singlet, shorts, socks, shirt) plus a ticket to the Carlton end of year presentation night.

Please register as soon as possible so you are covered for insurance when you are at training.

2021 OFFICIAL PREMIER 1 DRAW

It’s official! Rugby is back and we cannot wait to get on the park. Below is a rundown of our matches so mark all of the home games in your calendar and of course we would love to see you at the away games as well. This is a great year to be green – bring on 2021 rugby.

When we have it we will post the link in this post to the full draw on the Rugby Australia website so check back for that shortly.

Vale Mitch Gibson

Vale Mitch Gibson;
The Merewether Carlton Rugby Club is deeply saddened to hear that Southern Beaches first grade captain Mitch Gibson has passed away. We offer our sincere condolences to Mitch’s family and to the whole Southern Beaches rugby community.

A memorial will be held at Ernie Callan Oval on Wednesday at 10.30am, more information can be found on the facebook event page here.

Volunteers Needed for 2021 Season

To help make this the best Green year yet, we need help from you our fans and community members to ensure our game days and events are as fantastic as they can be. We encourage you to put your hand up and help us where and when you can. It could be an hour on a Saturday helping set up or something more substantial, but your help would be appreciated.

The 2021 Rugby Season commences on 17th April, with formal training commencing on Monday 1st February, here is what we have in place:

A solid player group who are talented, committed and have been training together since December last year.
An experienced and dedicated Coaching, Training and Management group.
A balanced Board to ensure everything is on track.
A sensational ground, gym and the Green Room at Townson Oval.
A great supporter base of families, old boys/girls and Rugby enthusiasts.
A loyal group of long term Volunteers who make a great contribution every year.
We are calling out for interested people to register their interest in becoming a Volunteer in any capacity.

Example roles include:

Ground managers
Covid Marshalls
Team managers and assistants
As well as general helping hand
The Club will pay for any fees to be registered/trained with Hunter Rugby and Rugby Australia as a Volunteer.

You choose the area of interest and the amount of time you would like to be involved. It doesn’t have to be every week. Everyone can play their part in the club when they are able to.
